Building Your Faith
The framework for the faith of Christianity is based upon the lasting structure and solid foundation of who Jesus Christ is. Jesus was the fulfillment of prophets who were voice of God throughout the old testament of the Bible. Jesus is the Son of God who was, is and always will be, the incarnate Yahweh affirmed by God the Father and the Holy Spirit (Matt 3:16-17). Jesus bore witness to the “Truth:” “and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” (John 18:37b)
The Truth of who Jesus is what we accept, Jesus as Lord of our lives and build towards a closer relationship with Him. Jesus pours out to those who accept His mercy and forgiveness of sins (John) and “whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”(John 4:14). These precepts define Christianity, and our passion at Living Faith Fellowship is to make them define ourselves.
Carpenter Series 101 is a course designed to introduce those who are new or curious about spiritual foundations as well as challenge and deepen the spiritual framework of seasoned Christians. This course serves as our membership class and informs and introduces people of all ages to our beliefs and there deep meaning in our everyday life. This class is offered every Fall and Spring for those interested and we invite everyone to try this course.
When we build a foundation of Truth, we can go deeper into a relationship with Jesus–talking, walking and living with Him.
Building Your Church
When we build our faith we lay our foundations in Christ. From there we can move to the equipping of our faith to live spiritually on a day to day basis. When we come together as a corporate body of believers we are then able to move in the sacraments of the church body. As a church, we believe in partaking of sacrament practices in the Bible such as, communion, foot-washing, and tithing.
Whether we are giving with our time, treasure, talent, washing each other’s feet to bless one another, or partaking in communion, we believe God moves by the willingness of the saints to see God’s will be done. Our obedience to God is what shows, and when we combine our faith with our actions in a mutual partnership (James 2:22), we can be the realization of God’s hands and feet extended to the world.
Carpenter Series 201 is a dynamic course offered here to deepen our understanding for the purpose and results of serving at a local Church. This course will encourage, inform and challenge new and experienced Christians alike to function and serve with purposeful passion in their local body of believers. Carpenter Series 201 also serves as our second and final membership course offered every Fall and Spring after completion of 101.
Through building your church, you will continue to grow spiritually as you learn how you can help build Christ’s Church. You’ll add to your spiritual tools and become more equipped to live Christianity each and every day.
Building Your Ministry
Church members are family members. When we are able to work within the family of Christ as a church body, we build ministries that have lasting impacts on others. Our mission is to serve a growing congregation with people from all over the world. We are actively involved in the community and give back to the people in our area. Every person is naturally and spiritually gifted in greatly diverse areas (especially being hand-crafted by God) and we are able to use those gifts to serve God and fulfill the great commission. One of the most exciting opportunities we offer, is to help you learn what your giftings are and how they can be used to expand God’s Kingdom.
Carpenter Series 301 is a course designed to help believers to realize their potential in ministry; to challenge and equip them to walk at that God-given potential. Whether your ministry touches children, orphans, the elderly, college students, and families in our neighbored, campuses or
Commitment
As we gather together to shoulder the load for the kingdom of God we come as a “committed core” of individuals that desire to see God’s heart realized in the Greater Inland Empire. The devotion to seek God move through prayer, worship, and organizing ourselves together is what we believe God can use as conduits for God’s spirit to move and build upon the solid foundation of Christ’s church.
The body of Christ that shoulders the core load of the church embodies the baseline principles of 1st Corinthians 12:25, “So that there should be no division or discord or lack of adaptation [of the parts of the body to each other], but the members all alike should have a mutual interest in and care for one another. 26And if one member suffers, all the parts [share] the suffering; if one member is honored, all the members [share in] the enjoyment of it.” Join us as we seek to see God move in powerful and intangible ways and how our church can better be immersed in God’s movement.
As we move towards individual understanding of “ownership” within the church, we come together on a regular basis to discuss and encourage one another in how we can improve as individuals and as a corporate body. We are dedicated to stewarding the resources that God has graciously provided our church and we are committed to doing so by the leading of the Holy Spirit. 401 allows for Pastoral vision and dynamics to be shared and discussion on how we as a body of believers can support that vision.
